That is another reason why I do not understand the huge need to protect them, they are probably the best hunters in the woods. zipwolf ::: Favorites If you haven't forgotten, wolves are PREDATORY animals, and they need to eat meat to survive. Farmers do have a right to defend their animals, and I don't necessarily see a problem with firing upon something that poses a threat to them, however this shouldn't be seen as "Causing trouble", and aerial gunning is certainly not the answer (It should also be noted that this is NOT the reason given for the aerial gunning of the wolves). 07-10-01 15:05:22 __________________________________________________

Now they are off teh endangered list and tehy should be fair game durin a season. Farmers have all rights to shoot wolves by the pack if they have to, bepecially if the wolves take teh easy route and start killing cows, chickens,ect........
