goodweedindeed ::: Favorites sounds like you are well grounded in your faith. Don't worry about what the Jehovahs Witnesse interpretation of the bible is, it is only that, their Interpretation. They will only try to tear down your beliefs and replace them with theirs. Their will be no bible study but rather indoctrination sessions using mostly their books citing only a few token scriptures taken out of context. Their only goal is to recruit more members. 07-09-21 03:25:56 __________________________________________________
wudriddick ::: Favorites Jehovah's witnesses are not Christian, and you can know for certain you have eternal life.1 John 5:13. 07-09-03 12:53:28 __________________________________________________
PowersofKhan ::: Favorites Thats great and all, but it seems to me that you are supporting your faith with the teachings of Apostles, not CHrist. It was Peter who was told to go eat, but it was Christ who said, Not one jot or tittle shall be removed from the law. So, Christ words must trump one of his lesser's words. Not one of you JWs has commented on what Christ has said about not taking away any part of the old law. 07-08-18 08:18:11 __________________________________________________
njgoldsmith ::: Favorites Re the sabbath: As before we are no longer under those laws. Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. 07-08-18 03:17:28 __________________________________________________
njgoldsmith ::: Favorites And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean. And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common. We are no longer under these laws as shown in the scripture. 07-08-18 03:14:04 __________________________________________________
njgoldsmith ::: Favorites We are no longer under those laws. Acts 10v10 And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending upon him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth, Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. 07-08-18 03:13:28 __________________________________________________
PowersofKhan ::: Favorites Your right about Pork not being named as Pork, but the animal the pig, or hog is contrary to Law/ the whole cloven hoof thing. The Pig is considered unclean food by Muslims, Jews, and Christians alike. Like it or not, consuming Pig is in direct violation of scripture, as well as not observing the Sabbath Day. 07-08-17 15:59:11 __________________________________________________
rufusredcoat ::: Favorites The bible does not mention the word Pork. The bible tells us that we must not eat the blood of animals. However animals nowadays are usually drained of blood in the proper way before it reaches us. 1 Corinthians 10v25: Whatsoever is sold in the shambles (market) that eat, asking no question for conscience sake: It is an individuals choice as to whether to eat meat or not. 07-08-17 14:34:54 __________________________________________________
PowersofKhan ::: Favorites also, the Bible also tells of folks like Daniel, who said they were stronger than those who did eat meat, as they were vegetarians, purer in spirit and flesh. Readers Digest recently published a report from Chicago U. that said "More reduction in greenhouse gases can be accomplished by adopting a vegan diet than buying a hybrid. 07-08-17 07:35:34 __________________________________________________
PowersofKhan ::: Favorites The Bible also tells us that Pork is unclean, and that to eat clean meat, one must remove all the blood from the animal. Thats impossible. I dont know if youve ever killed and then eaten any thing, but you never get all the blood out. 07-08-17 07:32:50 __________________________________________________ |
