Thanks guys; Well at least we got to the bottom of that. I looked it up and apparently Bonzo once refered to him as "the greatest Rock Drummer England ever produced." So it makes sense that Plant would chose him for his solo projects.

The drummer is actually Barriemore Barlow, former drummer for Jethro Tull. He is miming to Phil Collins's drum track here but did play on Robert's 1983 followup solo album, "The Principle Of Moments". Barrie played on two cuts, "Stranger Here Than Over There", and "Wreckless Love".

Blunt was also a session man and played with Edie Brickell on her late 80's album

Robbie Blunt is the guitar player. But does anyone know who the drummer is in this video. They are playing to a recording of course (w/Phil Collins on drums). But that's not Phil in the video. My guess is that you would have to be a REALLY big fan of Plants to know; either that or a relative of the guy; or, maybe the guy himself. Or, maybe someone who was there that day; or the guy who did the payroll and so had to know who he was giving the money to. Yeah, maybe he knows.

That's right. His playing on Burnin Down The One Side is some of my favorite playing of all time. Do you know what the guy does now?

His name was Robbie Blunt and he was on the next 3 albums for Plant. He was an old school friend and still pops up at one off gigs with Plant.

How about that guitar solo, and the outro licks. Robbie Mann was a great guitarist and then disappeared after this album.
