HelloFade2 ::: Favorites Funny thing is this game came out long before most people in the U.S knew who Jackie Chan was, of course we all know what a huge star he is here now. 07-08-20 03:43:54 _____________________________________________________
artman40 ::: Favorites The last boss is a spider. 07-07-25 05:39:55 _____________________________________________________
Nintendough ::: Favorites Yeah Rumble in the Bronx had great action. It probably did help increase Jackie's audience. Rush Hour, however was his first to meet & exceed $100,000,000 (nothing prior was even close). Then, based on its immense success, the "Jackie Chan Adventures" cartoon was produced & led to his image showing up in extruded plastic form for mass consumption by a newfound younger audience. It's not that before R.H. no one knew of him, but that after R.H. EVERYONE knew of him. That's just my observation. 07-07-23 20:11:06 _____________________________________________________
JPThunder01 ::: Favorites I thought Rumble in the Bronx was what made Jackie Chan a big name in the states. Even though the movie kinda sucked the action was pretty good. 07-07-23 11:45:10 _____________________________________________________
nickwylie ::: Favorites this is fake 07-05-31 18:05:16 _____________________________________________________
SoldatCrinale ::: Favorites I bought this when it came out. what a great platformer beat em up this was. loved it. 07-05-25 19:19:58 _____________________________________________________
DJHarrie ::: Favorites this game had graphics that wouldn't be out of place on the SNES, good supple gameplay and a beautiful soundtrack to boot. I'm gonna play this one right now... 07-03-28 09:13:34 _____________________________________________________
Tabs671 ::: Favorites This game actually turned out to be a fun one. I made to the last boss, you fight him one on one, he's kinda of like your evil twin. Unfortunately I couldn't beat him. 07-02-21 01:22:29 _____________________________________________________
Elementa2006 ::: Favorites He was wellknown in other countries, he was a popular star in Egypt in the 80's. Of course lets not forget he's the most popular Chinese actor in Japan, he did have a huge fanbase in the US in the pre-Rush Hour era, enough to be mentioned in Stallone's Demoltion Man 07-02-11 18:16:49 _____________________________________________________
Nintendough ::: Favorites Right you are, but until 'Rush Hour' came out how many Adolescent boys were jumping around imitating Jackie, watching Jackie Chan cartoons, or begging their parents to buy them a Jackie Chan happy meal? It wasn't until 8 years after this game was made that Jackie Chan really saw large-scale recognition & became a household name (I thought). But who knows, maybe he was significantly well-known in his pre-Rush Hour days. ^_^ 06-12-10 19:17:48 _____________________________________________________ |
